Pleasant Dale is located about 20 miles southwest of Lincoln, the capital city of Nebraska. The village is primarily an agricultural community, with the main crops being corn and soybeans. Pleasant Dale has several churches, a community center, and a volunteer fire department. The village hosts an annual Pleasant Dale Days celebration in August, which includes a parade, games, food, and entertainment. The area is also home to several parks and recreational lakes.
